Neighborhood Legal Support of Kansas City may provide assistance with rental arrears for those at risk of homelessness within 21 days of applying.
The Supportive Services for Veteran Families (SSVF) program provides a continuum of specialized housing services, case management, linkage to Veteran benefits, temporary financial assistamce, and other supportive services to address housing stabilization for very low income Veterans and their families who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless.
The SSVF aims to help veterans who are currently homeless or about to be homeless obtain and maintain affordable housing. We are a Housing First crisis response program who assist Veterans and their families with obtaining permanent housing or assist them with maintaining their current housing. The program will provide intensive case management, housing counseling, links to VA benefits, and job preparation.
The REVEAL Program provides financial assistance to prevent eviction and to provide housing stability. There is an extensive intake process, financial assistance is not immediate.

Assistance in obtaining and coordinating other public benefits available in the community are also available with case management services.
