Hillcrest Hope offers a disciplined educational program whose main objective is to empower homeless and working poor families and individuals to achieve personal independence through transitional housing, accountability, education, and community. In exchange for rent/utility-free housing, residents are required to work full time, obey program guidelines and attend volunteer-taught classes in life skills, employment, community living and budgeting.

HPC Young Adult Housing Program provides safe housing, supportive case management, educational and employment guidance with life skills classes for homeless young adults and/or teen parents between the ages of 17-23. Participants may remain in the program based upon the desired life track chosen. This program is designed with four different tracks including a college, trade specific high school/Hi-set, as well as career and employment tracks to ensure participants graduate the program with a skill set that will provide them higher than minimum wage employment.

Veterans Community Project provides Veterans Village-They offer case management to the Veterans only in their transitional housing program within Tiny Homes program. No other case management services offered.

Income based public housing
River of Refuge transitions homeless families with jobs from motels, shelters, and other unsuitable living conditions into permanent housing. They provide lodging and services for the working poor, providing them with a direct alternative to pay-by-the-week living arrangements and giving them the opportunity to receive resources needed to be successful in permanent housing.

ECKAN assists with House Choice Voucher applications.
Supportive emergency housing for homeless veterans Residents also receive case management, supported services and meals while in program.
Provide permanent and transitional housing services for men that are chronically homeless and have a disability.
Offers public housing based on income to low-income individuals. They permit the individuals or families to live in the city owned property, paying rent, for up to five years in order to get credit and personal situation settled. Then the individual or family have the option to obtain their own financing to purchase the property.

Independence Housing Authority strives to provide safe, clean and affordable housing to low income families and individuals through Public Housing. Anyone in need of housing is eligible to apply.
