Transitional Housing/Shelter | Hillcrest Transitional Housing - Youth Transitional Housing

Hillcrest provides a transitional housing program for homeless youth, ages 16-24. Youth housing sites are located in Kansas City, KS and Overland Park, KS and Independence, MO. Youth transitional housing is up to a 24-month program. During this time, Hillcrest provides a rent- and utility-free apartment, access to a food pantry, and case management.

Eligibility

Households must be homeless or at imminent risk of homelessness. Young adults must work towards an education goal, maintain 15-20 hours per week of employment, and participate in supportive services sessions each week.
