A medication reminder organizer is available free of charge to individuals 60 years of age and take at least one prescription medication or more. This is a system that helps a person organize, dispense and remember to take daily medications. This system beeps, provides a voice reminder or a visual alarm. There is also a missed pill alert on the system.

Monthly workshops and quarterly seminars to educate and empower single mothers. Topics vary and include protecting our children from sexual abuse, dating, praying for our children, defining social communities, talking to children about sex, dealing with shame/guilt, goal setting, vision casting, financial workshops, and emotional wholeness. Seminars include continental breakfast and lunch for mothers as well as children's programming.

The Mike Onka Memorial Building serves as a Cooling/Warming Center during periods of extreme heat or cold.

OAI provides various employment preparation and job training skills to eligible applicants: search/placement, on the job training, retraining, work experience, interview training, job readiness, resume preparation and prevocational training.

The Children's Division Child Abuse and Neglect Hotline Unit (CA/NHU) accepts confidential reports of suspected child abuse, neglect, or exploitation. Reports are received through a toll-free telephone line which is answered seven days a week, 24 hours a day. Any person may report, and anonymous reports are accepted from individuals who are not mandated by occupation to report. Calls of concern can be made to each county office. Instructions may be given for the reporter to call the toll free number of the CA/NHU for the call to be made into a formal report.

Assist adults with developmental disabilities in learning skills that will help them to become as independent in daily living skills as possible, develop a social network of friends through recreational and social activities both on-site and in the community and learn skills to better advocate for themselves.

Utility Assistance: Provides assistance to low-income individuals for water bill assistance. Partial payments are made to avoid utility cut-offs.

Home Ownership Counseling: Provides counseling to prospective homeowners on the purchasing of a home.

Accepts a wide range of donations that are not in need of repair; some donations are sold as a way to earn money for the program; automobiles in good condition that are accepted as donations would be sold; the food pantry may use a donated truck in good condition.

Individuals or families needing to place their child(ren) into foster care should contact the office to discuss options.
