SNAP (food Stamps) provides a monthly benefit to help individuals and families buy food and food products, such as seeds, and plants to grow food. This is a monthly benefit and is loaded to an Electronic Benefit Transfer (EBT) card.

The Missouri Adult Education and Literacy (AEL) Program provides assistance that helps Missouri adults get the basic skills they need to be productive workers, family members, and citizens. These programs emphasize basic skills such as reading, writing, math, English language competency, and problem-solving.
