The purpose of the MO HealthNet program is to provide medical services to persons who meet certain eligibility requirements as determined by FSD. The goals of the MO HealthNet program are to promote good health, to prevent illness and premature death, to correct or limit disability, to treat illness, and to provide rehabilitation to persons with disabilities. Eligible persons receive a "MO HealthNet Identification Card" or a letter from the local FSD office. The Family Support Division (FSD) determines client eligibility for the MO HealthNet program: the MO HealthNet Division administers the MO HealthNet program including establishment of benefit coverage, rates, claims processing, and all other aspects of daily operations.

Provides Narcan kits and Narcan training.

Environmental Health Protection Division: Educates on recycling and other topics.

Provides in-home services.

Assists families and children in their own homes when a child abuse or neglect investigation is indicated, or services are needed. Services include a range of treatment and support services and are provided, as appropriate to the case treatment plan.

Provides general pharmacies and general health education programs.

Services offered through the Senior Centers include noon-time congregate meals, home-delivered meals to surrounding communities, social, recreational, and educational activities.

Physical exams provided.

Offers a wide range of climate and topography and the availability of irrigation water in the state result in a considerable variability in crops produced.

Provides cooling site during extreme heat conditions.

The Division of Comprehensive Psychiatric Services divides Missouri into 25 service areas. Each area has a Community Mental Health Center which provides psychiatric services to individuals in need; and is designated as the division's Administrative Agent. These Administrative Agents serve as the primary entry and exit point for state mental health services.

Provides individual, group and family counseling and emotional support to help people resolve whatever personal or interpersonal difficulties they are experiencing.

Provide prescription expense assistance to qualified individuals.

Provides community clinic services such as physicals, dermatology, ENT (ear, nose, throat), gastroenterology, gynecology, infectious disease, internal medicine, nephrology, orthopedics, pulmonology, rheumatology, treatment for minor illness, injury and skin conditions, routine cancer screening, free pregnancy and sexually transmitted infectious testing, psychiatry and mental health care, flu vaccines, tetanus and other immunizations, diabetes and nutrition education and physical therapy.

Administers all phases of the Social Security Act, including Retirement, Disability, Survivors, Medicare benefits and SSI.

Provides medication management services.

• Dental care services for children, include examinations and assessments, cleanings and fluoride treatments, sealants, restorative care, including fillings and crowns, extractions and sedation, including nitrous.

• Special Needs Dentistry: A collaboration between the Southern Illinois University School of Dental Medicine (SIU/SDM), SIHF Healthcare and Touchette Regional Hospital, provides an affordable dental care option for children with Down syndrome, cerebral palsy, autism, ADHD, genetic syndromes or other disorders.

Utility Assistance: Provides assistance to low-income individuals for electric bill assistance. Partial payments are made to avoid utility cut-offs.

Provides free clothing and shoes for those who need them.

Provides preschool education services, teaching children academic and social skills to prepare them for kindergarten.

LIHEAP: - Beginning October 1, elderly, age 60 years and older and/or disabled household member, who may also be disconnected from their utilities or under imminent threat of losing their heating source from propane/wood may apply for assistance.

• Beginning November 1 households with children under the age of six years and households who are disconnected from their utilities and under imminent threat of losing their heating source from propane/wood may apply for assistance.
• General public can apply for assistance starting December 1-May 31, or until funds are depleted whichever comes first.

Offers various grief support groups, including for pet loss, open to the community

Geriatric counseling services provided.

Houses fire equipment and trains firefighters necessary for a quick and efficient response to fires when they occur.

4-H Program: Focuses on young people making new friends and memories while preparing to be future leaders.
