Many individuals have been able to avoid unnecessary stays in residential facilities and some have even left residential facilities for the comfort and independence of their own homes.

MoRx was created by the 93rd General Assembly to coordinate benefits with Medicare's (Part D) Prescription Drug Program, and to provide additional assistance for prescription drug costs to Missourians in need. MoRx pays for 50% of members' out of pocket costs remaining after their Medicare Prescription Drug Plan pays. It pays for 50% of the deductible, 50% of the co-pays before the coverage gap, 50% of the coverage gap, and 50% of co-pays in the catastrophic coverage. MoRx does not pay for the Medicare Part D Plan's monthly premium. MoRx uses the formulary of the Medicare Prescription Drug Plans. Any drug covered by a member's Medicare Drug Plan will also be covered by the MoRx plan. MoRx works with all Medicare Prescription Drug Plans. Dual eligible members will continue to have coverage for Medicare-excluded drugs through MO HealthNet. Medicare-excluded drugs include specific over-the-counter drugs, vitamins, minerals, limited cough and cold drugs, benzodiazepines and barbiturates as they are currently covered by MO HealthNet, as noted on the MO HealthNet Division Pharmacy pages. Extra help with paying for Medicare Part D costs is available from the Social Security Administration (SSA) for individuals with low income and limited assets. All dual eligibles automatically qualify for the extra help in paying for their premiums and co-pays. Other individuals may submit an application for extra help to the SSA.

JCDHE provides WIC, the supplemental food and nutrition program for mothers and young children.

Provides a drop-off location for over-the-counter and prescription drugs and opioids.

Offers a variety of counseling services for families, both in our office and community settings, to address individual needs. Behavioral care and intervention services include: ADHD, Adjustment Disorder, Anxiety, Depression, Grief/Bereavement, Mood Disorders, PTSD, Relationship Issues, and Social Issues.

Provides lead level screenings, food and lodging inspections, and communicable disease surveillance and investigation.

Public library will be open to the general public as a cooling center during periods of extreme heat.

Provides HPV series immunizations.

Temporary shelter is arranged for those who are victims of a natural disaster, domestic abuse, or homeless. As funds permit, provides a night stay at a local motel for the homeless.

Provides a noon-time congregate meal to seniors and their spouses.

Serves as a referral center for persons in need of a dentist.

Early Head Start: Child development services including education, health, nutrition, mental health, and parental involvement.

Recreational facility containing the following: pool, playground, tennis courts, ball fields, gymnasium, stage, boxing room, computer system and a multi-purpose room.

Women are eligible for: -Must be uninsured -Approved methods of contraception -STD testing and treatment, including pap tests and pelvic exams -Family planning, counseling, and birth control education -Drugs, supplies or devices for above services

Early childhood program designed to provide high-quality educational experiences, health services, social service support, and other opportunities for children and their families. The Early Head Start program provides comprehensive services for pregnant women and their birth-to-3-year-old children.
