Support groups provides a peer-to-peer structure for individuals to work together to strengthen coping skills when living with any of a number of conditions, including mental health concerns, physical health concerns, grief, trauma, parenting, caregiving, etc. MHA-EM's website offers a searchable directory of support groups.

Work skills through community volunteerism, community utilization, shopping, library, banking, etc. Communication skills, decision making/personal choices, domestic skill training, self care skills and behavioral control.

The Children's Division Child Abuse and Neglect Hotline Unit (CA/NHU) accepts confidential reports of suspected child abuse, neglect, or exploitation. Reports are received through a toll-free telephone line which is answered seven days a week, 24 hours a day. Any person may report, and anonymous reports are accepted from individuals who are not mandated by occupation to report. Calls of concern can be made to each county office. Instructions may be given for the reporter to call the toll free number of the CA/NHU for the call to be made into a formal report.

Individuals with HIV but unable to live independently can find housing in Cooper House, our state-licensed, 36-unit residential care facility. Cooper House provides private rooms, 24-hour nursing, social services, meals in a community dining room, and more.
