Wounded Soldier and Family Hotline is also a line for Veterans, active duty, reservists, National Guardsman and family to call if they are contemplating suicide. The operator will attempt to get "hands on" the caller to make sure they don't cause harm to themselves which may mean soldiers on base or police for veterans calling from off-base.
