The Guidance Center provides a 24 hour after hours hotline to connect callers with a qualified mental health professional.

Boys Town Hotline offers parents, teens and families access to trained counselors who provide suicide and crisis intervention.
The Elizabeth Layton Center provides a crisis hotline for Miami & Franklin county residents in immediate need.
The Compassionate Ear Warm Line is a peer-operated listening service for persons in need of support. Trained volunteers provide non-clinical, non-crisis supportive listening, coping strategies, information, and provide a reprieve from loneliness and isolation.
Show-Me Hope is the statewide crisis counseling program to address the stress, strain, grief and loss throughout Missouri. Crisis counseling is available for people in emotional distress related to any natural or human-caused disaster.

Wounded Soldier and Family Hotline is also a line for Veterans, active duty, reservists, National Guardsman and family to call if they are contemplating suicide. The operator will attempt to get "hands on" the caller to make sure they don't cause harm to themselves which may mean soldiers on base or police for veterans calling from off-base.
