The Kansas crime Victim Compensation Board provides crime victims with financial assistance for loss of earnings and out-of-pocket loss for injuries sustained as a direct result of violent crime. This includes reasonable medical care, mental health counseling and/or other services necessary as a result of the injury.

Safe at Home is Kansas' address confidentiality program. It provides a substitute address for victims of domestic violence, sexual assault, trafficking or stalking to use on all public records as well as a free first-class mail forwarding system for participants.

The Victim Services Unit empowers victims by providing them the tools they need to overcome trauma of victimization. They inform victims of their rights and advocate for those rights to be upheld. They respect and encourage each person's right to make his or her own informed decisions as they navigate the criminal justice system.

A mail forwarding and address confidentiality service for Missouri residents who are victims of domestic abuse, sexual assault, stalking, human trafficking or other crimes and fear future harm. The Safe at Home program forwards first class mail, certified mail and legal documents to help keep victims' location confidential. Participants may also use the substitute address on government records and public filings.

The victim assistance coordinator of the Miami County Attorney's Office provides services to all victims of crime in Miami County, including advising victims of counseling options, preparing victim for trial, determining restitution and filling out restitution claim forms, and assisting victims in the return of stolen property.

Advocacy is offered to survivors of sexual violence ages 11+ and can assist clients with navigating medical exams, forensic interviews, legal proceedings, or any personal needs. Advocates can act as case workers to help schedule appointments, fill out paperwork, or arrange any needed services.
