This office provides the documentation and applications for TANF. This assistance can be provided to needy families with children and provide parents with job preparation, work and support services to enable them to leave the program and become self-sufficient.

General Assembly to coordinate benefits with Medicare's (Part D) Prescription Drug Program, and to provide additional assistance for prescription drug costs to Missourians in need. MoRx pays for 50% of members' out of pocket costs remaining after their Medicare Prescription Drug Plan pays. It pays for 50% of the deductible, 50% of the co-pays before the coverage gap, 50% of the coverage gap, and 50% of co-pays in the catastrophic coverage. MoRx does not pay for the Medicare Part D Plan's monthly premium. MoRx uses the formulary of the Medicare Prescription Drug Plans. Any drug covered by a member's Medicare Drug Plan will also be covered by the MoRx plan. MoRx works with all Medicare Prescription Drug Plans. Dual eligible members will continue to have coverage for Medicare-excluded drugs through MO HealthNet. Medicare-excluded drugs include specific over-the-counter drugs, vitamins, minerals, limited cough and cold drugs, benzodiazepines and barbiturates as they are currently covered by MO HealthNet, as noted on the MO HealthNet Division Pharmacy pages. Extra help with paying for Medicare Part D costs is available from the Social Security Administration (SSA) for individuals with low income and limited assets. All dual eligibles automatically qualify for the extra help in paying for their premiums and co-pays. Other individuals may submit an application for extra help to the SSA.

The Clerk’s office serves as the official record custodian of city and county records of the Unified Government.

Family-centered Services are provided to families and children in their own homes when a child abuse or neglect investigation/family assessment response determination is preponderance of evidence, unsubstantiated-preventive services indicated, or services needed. These services are also provided to families who voluntarily seek help. Family-centered Services include a range of treatment and support services and are provided, as appropriate to the case treatment plan.

At KVC, we are faithfully committed to providing you and your loved ones with lasting, positive outcomes. As a part of our successful care program, we offer aftercare treatment for six months following reunification, permanent custodianship or finalization of adoption. Our multifaceted aftercare planning occurs when reintegration is imminent, and KVC assigns an intensive in-home therapist to assist with the case. The therapist works to keep the children safe and stable in their homes by providing intensive in-home services. They also connect families with a multitude of community services including medical or behavioral health services, education or legal assistance.
