The purpose of the MO HealthNet program is to provide medical services to persons who meet certain eligibility requirements as determined by FSD. The goals of the MO HealthNet program are to promote good health, to prevent illness and premature death, to correct or limit disability, to treat illness, and to provide rehabilitation to persons with disabilities. Eligible persons receive a "MO HealthNet Identification Card" or a letter from the local FSD office. The Family Support Division (FSD) determines client eligibility for the MO HealthNet program: the MO HealthNet Division administers the MO HealthNet program including establishment of benefit coverage, rates, claims processing, and all other aspects of daily operations.

Provide Care Coordination to older persons and their family caregivers, including assessment, care plan development, monitoring and assistance in accessing public and private services. Provide assistance with Medicare Part D and Missouri Rx application and enrollment process. Can also advocate for clients experiencing any problems with those programs.

CMFCAA hosts foster parent In Service training each month in 8 of the 13 counties we serve. Foster parents are required to receive 30 hours of in-service training every two years in order to maintain their licensure.

FEC has Veteran Services which provides a skills assessment, career counseling, on the job training, job search/assistance, resume assistance, and mock job interviews.

Turning Point is a drop-in center that provides a host of services to individuals without secure shelter. Services range from bathing and laundry facilities to assistance with applications for employment, housing, education, and financial aid. Referrals are also made to other agencies in Columbia that assist with clothing, housing, mental health and other services.

Provides education, medical and dental services, nutritional meals, counseling and opportunities for low-income parents to help prepare children enter and succeed in school.

Equipment loan: DCAi has a supply of wheelchairs, commodes, crutches, etc., that are loaned on a temporary basis at no charge until a resource can be found to supply the equipment needed.
