The Children's Division Child Abuse and Neglect Hotline Unit (CA/NHU) accepts confidential reports of suspected child abuse, neglect, or exploitation. Reports are received through a toll-free telephone line which is answered seven days a week, 24 hours a day. Any person may report, and anonymous reports are accepted from individuals who are not mandated by occupation to report. Calls of concern can be made to each county office. Instructions may be given for the reporter to call the toll free number of the CA/NHU for the call to be made into a formal report.

BAILS will loan walking aids and assistive technology to people with disabilities with no deposit or payment for 60 days. The equipment inventory includes but is not limited to the following: Geri Chair, Manual Wheelchairs, Walkers with and without wheels, Shower Chairs, Lift Chair and Crutches.

This program helps detect breast & cervical cancers in their earliest stages when they are easiest to treat. Free mammograms & pap tests will be provided to women who meet income and age requirements. Other services for women are offered at this site.

A crisis prevention program to connect youth with services such as counseling, case management, head start and more.

Equipment provided such as hearing aids, ostomy supplies, prosthetic devices, body braces and therapeutic shoes/inserts (for diabetes patients). Other equipment provided include benches, walkers, canes, and glucose monitors. Also assists with adult diapers and Pedialyte if prescribed by doctor.

Monthly trash and yard waste disposal events.

Firefighters are trained to inspect and install child safety seats.

Provides confidential, one-on-one evaluations, matching seniors with eligible benefits, such as Medicaid, SSI, food stamps, Qualified Medicare Beneficiary, and Veterans benefits; assistance is also given with making application for these benefits.
