Clinton County Legal Self-Help Center provides legal information such as individuals legal rights and responsibilities, instructions on how to handle common legal problems, assistance with some legal documents and forms, and referrals to free and low-cost legal services. The Center does not provide legal advice. Instead, it offers information on such topics as instructions for available forms, answers to general legal questions, and information on court procedures.

Consumer Directed Attendant Services: A consumer-directed approach to attendant services which allows individuals 18 and older who is eligible for nursing home care to retain services of a personal attendant and direct care. Services are paid for by state and federal funds through MO HealthNet (Medicaid). Can also help an individual recruit a personal care attendant, interview and screen applicants, schedule and supervise an attendant and manage MO HealthNet requirements.

Provides nuisance complaints investigations.

Provides a chamber of commerce for businesses to connect.

Provides education programs, advocacy, network building and emergency relief to artists. Services may include financial support (grants and loans), craft booth fee waivers, discounts and/or donations of craft supplies and equipment and more.

LIHEAP: assists eligible households by providing financial assistance in the form of direct payments to the household’s energy vendor or the household.

Provides Fires Station Emergency Services

Accepts donations of books/magazines.

Provides a building where fire engines and fire equipment are stored. Location provides space for training to firefighters so they can respond to fires.

Family Planning: Offers diabetes screening to area residents.

Provides socialization, recreation, I&R, health screening to combat isolation and to allow senior citizens to remain in the community as long as possible.

English as a second language classes for Refugees arriving in Boone County, Missouri.

MO HealthNet (Medicaid) provides medical care for children, pregnant women and families.

Provides and manages income-based housing for eligible families with children, the disabled, those aged 62 and over or in some cases aged 55 and over.

Provides early childhood education program and includes the Full Start day case service before and after the Head Start classes.

Provides free legal representation to low income clients in a number of civil legal problems; criminal defense representation is not provided; they handle cases involving public benefits, housing, unemployment compensation, family, consumer, education, employment, health and other matters.

MRC provides bilingual (English/Spanish) culturally competent services in the areas of counseling, case management, family violence intervention, and substance abuse treatment.

Job Search: Provides job search activities including workshops to prepare individuals for a job search. Workshops include skill assessment, networking, resume and cover letter preparation, interviewing strategies and more.

Responsible for the coordination of emergency management activities, including planning, preparedness, response, and recovery; serves as the central point of contact for reporting emergency/disaster incidents in Vernon County, Missouri.

Tetanus, Diphtheria, Pertussis, Hepatitis A, Hepatitis B, and Pneumonia immunizations are available.

Accepts donations of children's clothing.

Programs that offer counseling that focus on the system of relationships and communication patterns among family members and which attempt to modify those relationships and patterns to achieve greater harmony.

Provides a thrift shop.

Provides mental health services to adults 18 years and older including individuals, couples, family and group sessions. Family members are encouraged to participate. Counseling for stress related issues, grief, behavioral issues, marriage, divorce, abuse and other mental health issues are available.

Accepts a wide range of donations that are not in need of repair; donations may be sold as a way to earn money for the program; a donation pick-up service is not available.
