Discovery Center for Little Scholars: A comprehensive program which, in partnership with parents, provides a wide array of education, health and family support services for low income, preschool children and families.

Provides inpatient hospitalization services for individuals experiencing mental/psychiatric problems.

The purpose of the MO HealthNet program is to provide medical services to persons who meet certain eligibility requirements as determined by FSD. The goals of the MO HealthNet program are to promote good health, to prevent illness and premature death, to correct or limit disability, to treat illness, and to provide rehabilitation to persons with disabilities. Eligible persons receive a "MO HealthNet Identification Card" or a letter from the local FSD office. The Family Support Division (FSD) determines client eligibility for the MO HealthNet program: the MO HealthNet Division administers the MO HealthNet program including establishment of benefit coverage, rates, claims processing, and all other aspects of daily operations.

Low Income Housing: Provides affordable housing to individuals with an eligible income who meet other eligibility criteria.

Foster Adopt Connect is licensed to recruit, train and assess foster, adoptive, and kinship homes for children in foster care.

Tuberculosis testing available.

Individuals or families needing to place their child(ren) into foster care should contact the office to discuss options. Also receives and reviews applications for families who would like to adopt or foster a child(ren)

Offers the evaluation of the child's needs prior to placement, and arrangements for care of the child prior to the child's adoptive placement and to the approval of the adoptive family. Also, special activities are provided to help adoptive parents and children adjust to the new family situation.

All Kids Health Insurance: Assists with State of Illinois Health Insurance Program enrollment for children.

Utility Assistance: Provides assistance to low-income individuals for water bill assistance. Partial payments are made to avoid utility cut-offs.

Providing a warming site during extreme cold emergencies.

Nurse practitioners and medical assistant provides preventative care as well as the treatment of both acute and chronic conditions in school-age children, services include treatment for sexually transmitted diseases (STD).

Provides examinations, diagnosis and treatments related to the reproductive system of women.

Provides teen family planning and teen pregnancy prevention programs and birth control counseling.

Immunizations are given for the following diseases: Diphtheria, Pertussis/Tetanus, Td, Polio, Measles, Mumps/Rubella, HIB, Hep B, Varicella, Prevnar, Hep A, Influenza, and Meningococcal.

Head Start is a federal program for preschool children from low-income families. Children receive educational activities, medical care, dental care, healthy meals & snacks.
