This is an educational program that equips families, care providers and educators with positive discipline strategies designed to prevent or reduce behavioral problems and increase positive adult-child interactions. Internet safety is now included in the Love and Logic curriculum.

Catholic Charities also offers short-term case management, child development assessments, and group parenting classes through the Social Butterflies program. This program provides social-emotional and child development programming for Jackson County families with children under the age of 6 years old. Services include, but not limited to, facilitating developmental screenings and assessments, support to address areas of concern, parenting education and support, community groups, individualized case management, financial assistance, and mental health and behavioral health support. This program is funded by the Children's Service Fund of Jackson County.

NEK-CAP offers a "Love and Logic" class which teaches parenting skills

"Prepped and Ready" is an online presentation to help equip parents for the transition into parenting teenagers. They seek to empower parents to address the hard topics that can be very uncomfortable and talk about changes each one of us can make within our own homes to make them safer.

Provides parenting skills classes

Parenting classes are offered on an individual basis. Parents can choose from two curriculums. One curriculum is four hours and the other is ten hours.

Host monthly workshops and quarterly seminars to educate and empower single mothers. Topics vary and include protecting our children from sexual abuse, dating, praying for our children, defining social communities, talking to children about sex, dealing with shame/guilt, goal setting, vision casting, financial workshops, and emotional wholeness. Seminars include continental breakfast and lunch for mothers as well as children's programming.
