FEC offers a youth program that provides extensive youth services such as personalized career counseling, career assessments, internships, work experience, classroom training, supportive services and resume/interview assistance between the ages of 16-24. Internships, work experience, classroom training and supportive services are subject to eligibility requirements and funding availability.
Young adults may enroll in the Youth Program, which offers training and skills enhancement tailored to the individual youth, including career exploration and tutoring.

Job Corps is a no-cost education and career technical training program administered by the U.S. Department of Labor that helps young people ages 16 through 24 train for and get a better job. At Job Corps, students enroll to learn a trade, earn a high school diploma or GED and get help finding a good job. When you join the program, you will be paid a monthly allowance; the longer you stay with the program, the more your allowance will be. Job Corps provides career counseling and transition support to its students for up to 12 months after they graduate from the program.
FEC has a Career Center which provides a skills assessment, career counseling, job training, job search/assistance, resume assistance, mock job interviews, computer lab with assistive technology, and job fairs
A professional Case Manager will work with you for a minimum of three months, taking the time to learn about you and your unique needs. The objectives of this program is to help you gain the skills you need to realize your dreams. They can teach you how to set attainable and measurable goals for yourself. You will learn about personal finance, saving, and budgeting through our workshops. We can connect you with occupational skills training, employment, etc.
