Employment Opportunity Program (EOP): Focuses on assisting students in grades 8th - 12th in preparation for employment.

The SkillUP program provides SNAP participants opportunities to gain skills, training, or experience that will improve their ability to attain employment and decrease their dependency on public assistance programs. The intention of the SkillUP program is rapid attachment to work that leads to self-sufficiency for individuals and families. The program offers job search training, education, and supportive services to participants. The SkillUP program provides short-term training in the quickest possible time in order to lead to employment. Training should be completed within one year or less, must align with the participant’s employment plan, and lead to employment and self-sufficiency.

Provides assistance with job preparation and training and helps individuals find secure full-time employment; cash assistance is time-limited; any month in which a parent/caretaker receives a cash grant from any state will count toward their 60-month time limit. This SkillUP program provides SNAP participants opportunities to become more job ready. Employment education fairs are also held to give the public an opportunity to fill out applications and/or interview for open positions with area businesses and education institutions.

OAI provides various employment preparation and job training skills to eligible applicants: search/placement, on the job training, retraining, work experience, interview training, job readiness, resume preparation and prevocational training.

Provides supportive a monthly two week course in job readiness. Classes cover dressing for success, soft skills, finance and budgeting, developing a resume and more. Once the class is completed, the participants receive job placement assistance, work clothing from the boutique, and continued coaching and mentoring.

Transformation is a faith-based job readiness training program for individuals entering or re-entering the workforce. Our mission is to build and release capable employees. The project’s purpose is to teach and train individuals that are unemployed and underemployed to find and maintain meaningful employment. Our staff and volunteers provide coaching for personal and professional development.
