Samuel U. Rodgers Health Center healthcare professionals provide prenatal care until the final weeks of pregnancy. At that time, the clinic will refer the pregnant person to a Meritas Health obstetrician, who will oversee their care and the baby’s delivery at North Kansas City Hospital. After the delivery, parent and baby can return to Rodgers Health for their postpartum health needs.

The Maternal and Infant Clinic is offered to pregnant Leavenworth County residents in conjunction with Kansas University Medical Center. The program includes prenatal services by a physician, a registered nurse, a registered dietitian, a licensed social worker, and a registered medical technologist.
