Through JCDHE's Outreach Nurse Program, Registered Nurses provide blood pressure checks, infant weight checks and counseling on infant growth and development, infant care, breastfeeding, nutrition, safety and immunizations. JCDHE also offers the Nurse Family Partnership program for first time mothers who are 28 weeks pregnant or less and meets income requirements.
Provides prenatal care services for expectant parents from time of conception to onset of labor for purpose of checking for risk factors, edema, gestational diabetes and assure pregnancy is progressing well.
Group Connections meets monthly for family-centered activities and parenting workshops.
