The Health Department tests for HIV/AIDS. All testing is done confidentially and provided with risk reduction information. The Health Department utilizes the Missouri State Public Health Laboratory in Jefferson City to test the samples submitted. Results are typically available in one and half to two weeks.
Henry County Health Center CYSHCN provides assistance for children and youth with special health care needs from birth to age 21.

First Steps is Missouri's Early Intervention system for infants and toddlers, birth to age 3, who have delayed development or diagnosed conditions that are associated with developmental disabilities. First Steps offers coordinated services and assistance to young children with special needs and their families.
