The Financial Opportunity Center provides financial coaching. This program is a long term commitment, at least six months. Once enrolled in this program, a client may be eligible for some income supports.
Workshops guide jobseekers through effective interview techniques, job search strategies and provide up-to-date job leads.
Personal finance classes covering: money values, where not to put your money, budgeting, working with banks, debt management, and dealing with court judgments and child support.
Weekly one-hour classes covering savings strategies, budget tools, resources/products.
Provides financial workshops to public on various topics such as credit and budgeting.
Homebuyer education and workshops to be successful as a homeowner.
NEK-CAP offers a "Tackling the Tough Skills" class which teaches job search, resume, budgeting, and soft skills.
Offers basic one-hour wokshops, relief from predatory lending through Kansas Loan Pool Project, and financial coaching through Family Financial Trasformation.
Provides a one-hour basic financial education classes on budgeting, saving, etc.
Offers ongoing financial workshops about different options for financial aid, and personal financial literacy/ budgeting.
One-hour classes covering savings strategies, budget tools, resources/products.
