The VA of Eastern Kansas will work with veterans who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless due to financial hardship, unemployment, addiction, depression, or transition from jail.

Eligibility

Veterans and active duty Service members, including members of the National Guard and Reserve components. Veterans who meet the definition for being chronically homeless have preference. Income must be below HUD poverty threshold.

Required documents

ID for all adults, Social Security cards for all members of household, Birth Certificates for dependents, income verification, DD214 or VA hospital card
