Homebuyer/Home Purchase Counseling | Community Housing of Wyandotte County
CHWC is a HUD Certified Housing Counselor offering monthly Homebuyer Education courses. The courses cover budgeting and credit basics, types of financing programs available, securing a mortgage loan, shopping for a home, and finance management. Upon completion of the course, individuals receive an official “Certificate of Completion.” This may be used for down payment assistance when purchasing a home. The certificate is valid for one year from the date of class completion.
