Eligibility
Must be a US Citizen, US National, Legal Permanent Resident or a lawfully present immigrant and meet income guidelines to be eligible for the Marketplace. For MO Medicaid, must be MO Resident, US Citizen or Legal Permanent Resident for more than 5 years and meet income guidelines. However, some pregnant people may qualify for Show Me Healthy Babies coverage if they are not US Citizens or a lawfully present immigrant.
Required documents
The documents required to bring to an appointment will vary depending upon the program you are applying for and your household. During the initial phone call (screening process) they will determine and let you know what documents you must bring to your appointment. Generally speaking you should bring a photo ID
proof of income such as a recent pay stub or income tax return for anyone who works in the household
Social Security numbers and dates of birth for everyone in your household
Permanent Resident Cards, Form I-94 for legal immigrants or Certificates of Citizenship or Naturalization for anyone who is a naturalized citizen
your current insurance cards or Medicaid cards
and proof of any pension you receive such as Social Security Retirement or Social Security Disability benefits.
