The SSVF aims to help veterans who are currently homeless or about to be homeless obtain and maintain affordable housing. We are a Housing First crisis response program who assist Veterans and their families with obtaining permanent housing or assist them with maintaining their current housing.Housing case management services that include but are not limited to, temporary financial assistance for rent, utility deposits, moving costs, etc. as well as employment education and job search. Other case management will include housing counseling, money management and support. Assistance in obtaining and coordinating other public benefits available in the community are also available with case management services.
Eligibility
Less than 50% area median income; any discharge other than dishonorable; if homeless, must provide homeless letter; if not homeless must have an eviction notice; must be willing to participate in intensive case management services
