TANF Applications | State of Missouri: Family Support Division: Shelby County

Eligibility
  • Income Guidelines Apply
  • Individuals or families with children age 19 years and under
  • Must be a Missouri resident and the parent or legal caretaker of a child who is either under age 18 years or the child is attending high school )or equivalent) and is expected to graduate before age 19 years
  • Upon approval of TANF, the recipient must participate in employment and training services through the Missouri Work Assistance (MWA) program which helps TANF recipients transition from TANF to a job by helping set goals and get the skills needed to find a job and support the recipient’s family
