RideKC Freedom provides ADA Complementary paratransit services throughout the Kansas City region for people 65 and older and those with a disability. Paratransit service is an origin to destination, shared ride, advanced reservation public transportation service.

Eligibility

If you are 65 or older and/or have a disability AND live in Independence, MO, Kansas City, MO or Wyandotte County, KS, you may be eligible for non-ADA RideKC Freedom service in these areas. If you are 65 or older, have a disability AND live in Johnson County, KS, you may be eligible for Johnson County Transit’s RideKC Freedom services and RideKC Freedom on Demand.

Required documents

Completed application, proof of age, professional/medical form (if applicable), and a 2"x2" color photo to be used for an ID card.
