Sexual Assault Shelters | Hope House - Lee's Summit & Independence

Safe shelter is offered onsite and through offsite hotel placement. Adult and child survivors have access to basic necessities (food, clothes, personal care items, etc.); crisis intervention, support, life skills groups, advocacy, case management, and therapy services. Pets may be housed temporarily as space allows.

Hope House Provide comprehensive services to survivors and their children/dependents including residential and non-residential services. Advocate social change through legislative efforts that protect a person's right to live free of abuse. Place high importance on training and education that increases awareness of domestic violence, e.g. community, hospital, police, and judicial system trainings. Provide culturally competent and trauma-informed services to those in need.
