First/Last Month Rent Payment Assistance | Metro Lutheran Ministry - Central - Emergency Assistance

Households with active/pending evictions and those who are unhoused are given preference. Must not have received assistance from MLM in the past 12 months.

Itemized rent ledger, move-in letter, photo ID, SS cards for household members, proof of address, and proof of income for the last 30 days (pay stubs, social security, unemployment, pension, child support, TANF, etc.)

Complete an eligibility form online at www.mlmkc.org. Eligibility forms are accepted on the 15th of the month from 9am-10am if funding is available. The first 30 submissions determined eligible will be invited to complete a full application for assistance. All other submissions will be notified they are ineligible or that funds are no longer available for the month.
