Arabic, Somali and Spanish. Phone-based interpreter services are available for other languages. American sign language.

Walk-in care is available Monday through Friday from 8am. – 12pm. A master's-level mental health professional will meet with you and help you get the care you need. Each person who utilizes walk-in hours will be assessed and connected to appropriate services.

Medicaid, Medicare and most types of commercial insurance. Uninsured residents of Jackson County and Kansas City, Missouri can receive services on a sliding fee schedule based on their income/resources.

Description

Child and Adolescent Services address complex problems within the age range of 3 to 18 and include anxiety disorders, (post-traumatic stress, separation anxiety), mood disorders, (depression and bi-polar disorder), autism spectrum disorders (difficulties in social interaction, verbal and nonverbal communication and repetitive behaviors) , attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, and oppositional defiant disorder. Services include a trauma informed community, medication services, child and adolescent counseling and play therapy.
