The Waynesville R-VI School District services the cities of Waynesville, St. Robert and Ft. Leonard Wood. A large percentage of the school population is affiliated with the military installation. Wood Elementary provides elementary school services, brown bag food programs, school breakfast and lunches, English as a second language, gifted education, subject tutoring, vision and hearing screening, and youth enrichment programs.
