KSDS, INC is an accredited facility that provides service dogs to individuals that are visually impaired or physically disabled. They can also place facility dogs. They do not train dogs for Autism, Alzheimer’s, cognitive challenges, diabetes, hearing loss, emotional assistance, post traumatic stress disorders (PTSD) or seizures.

Eligibility

Age 14+, visually impaired or have physical disabilities, not including hearing loss or seizures, must be able to care for dog.

Application process

Contact agency for application for receiving service/guide dog, or for serving as a puppy raiser. Request for application is also available on the web site. Wait list of 2-5 years.

Dog and training are provided at no cost to the applicant
