St. Louis County library offers library services. Services include Diapers, Personal/Grooming Supplies, Property Tax Rebate Information, Rent Rebate/Tax Credit Information, Tax Preparation Assistance, Notary Public Services, GED/High School Equivalency Test Instruction, Subject Tutoring, Health Related Personal Protective Products and Equipment, Job Finding Assistance, Extreme Cold Warming Centers, Extreme Heat Cooling Centers, and Libraries.
Eligibility
- Renters who lived and paid rent in Missouri for the entire calendar
- Individual or their spouse age 65 years and older
- Individual or their spouse under age 65 years and 100% disabled
- Individual ages 60-64 years and received surviving spouse social security benefits
- 100% disabled veteran
- Household income must be less than $67,000 last year
- If rent from a facility that DOES NOT pay property taxes, person is not eligible for a Circuit Breaker
Required documents
- Photo ID
- Social Security (SSA 1099) or Railroad Retirement Award Letter
- W-2's from Employers
- 1099s for Dividends, Interest, Pensions
- Rent receipts/landlord statement of rent paid for the year
- Disabled Veterans need letter from the Department of Veterans Affairs
