Home Based Parenting Education | CAPA - Independence
CAPA's Healthy Families Jackson County program is a home visiting program for new parents with children up to 3 years of age. CAPA and community partners work to ensure each family receives the necessary support to help their child grow up healthy in a safe and nurturing environment. Activities include: case management, child developmental education, parent mentoring, referral to community services, smoking cessation support, connection to health care, positive discipline education, and parent skill development for stress management.
