If you have health insurance, JCDHE will bill your insurance plan for the cost of the vaccine plus JCDHE’s administration fee. If your child qualifies for the Vaccines for Children program, the vaccine will be provided at no cost, but a $20 administration fee per vaccine applies. You can also pay out-of-pocket for the vaccine. The Moderna vaccine for children ages 6 months to 11 years is $112. The Pfizer vaccine for individuals ages 12 and older is $122. 10/2/25: COVID-19 vaccines May require a prescription or other documents. JCDHE provides health services to prevent disease and promote wellness within the community. They offer reproductive health services, immunizations, and outreach nurse services; have WIC offices; and offers public health emergency planning, disease surveillance and health education. JCDHE also offers evnironmental services that includes inspection of solid waste management facilites, on-site septic systems and commercially operated pools. JCDHE educates on recycling and waste reduction and ensures compliance with state air quality regulations.
