The transitional housing program provides 90 days of rent and utility free housing, in a private, fully furnished apartment, to homeless households in the Kansas City Metropolitan Area. Adults in the household are required to find and maintain 32-40 hours per week of employment upon program entry, and to attend weekly counseling sessions in budgeting, case management, life-skills, and community living, to support the skills necessary for independent living.
Eligibility
Households must be homeless or at imminent risk of homelessness. Adults must be able and willing to obtain and maintain 32-40 hours per week of employment, and to participate in supportive services sessions each week.
