Help participants experiencing PTSD or acute stress disorder (combat exposure, physical/sexual abuse, terrorist attack, serious car wreck or been through natural disaster like fire, tornado, flood, etc.) identify stressors in their own lives and develop better ways of reducing or managing stress in personal relationships and work environment.

Application process

Walk-in care is available Monday through Friday from 8am – 12 pm A master's-level mental health professional will meet with you and help you get the care you need. Each person who utilizes walk-in hours will be assessed and connected to appropriate services.

Fee

Medicaid, Medicare and most types of commercial insurance. Flat fee for services, also accepts Truman discount.

Eligibility

Recent trauma exposure and Acute Stress Reaction OR people suspected to have Acute Stress Disorder (ASD) or Post-traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). Can be civilian or veteran.

Languages

Arabic, Somali and Spanish. Phone-based interpreter services are available for other languages. American sign language.
