Description

The transitional housing program provides 90 days of rent and utility free housing, in a private, fully furnished apartment, to homeless households. Adults in the household are required to find and maintain 30-40 hours per week of employment upon program entry, and to attend weekly counseling sessions in budgeting, case management, life-skills, and community living, to support the skills necessary for independent living. Transitional housing facilities are located in Missouri in Independence and Lee's Summit, and in Kansas in Overland Park and Kansas City.
