The Heartland Center for Jobs and Freedom is a nonprofit organization that provides legal information and assistance to low-wage workers in the areas of employment, tenant, and consumer law. Low-wage workers are more likely than others to have their rights violated but less likely to have access to legal assistance. The Heartland Center is here to provide that much-needed support. Requests for legal representation for eviction cases in KCMO must go through "City of Kansas City, MO - KC Right to Counsel Eviction Prevention".
