General Minor Home Repair Programs | Rebuilding Together St. Louis

Eligibility
To qualify, applicants must be:
- Homeowners who have lived in their current home for at least 5 years. Homeowners must currently own, live in, and plan to stay in their home.
- Older adults who are 65 years and older who need minor home modifications and are physically unable to do their own repairs, and/or
- Veterans who are 60 years and older who need minor home modifications and are physically unable to do their own repairs, and/or
- Individuals with disabilities of any age who need minor home modifications and are physically unable to do their own repairs.
- Low-income households that are financially unable to afford the repairs.
- Individuals must be no more than 3 years behind on their real estate taxes
Required documents
- Documentation of home ownership (most recent real estate tax receipt)
- Driver's License or ID
- Proof of income for all living in the house
- 1040 Income Tax Form
- Two most recent full bank statements for each checking and savings account in your name
- DD-214 indicating honorable discharge is required for Veterans

Limited funding and resources allow Rebuilding Together to assist only a small portion of requests each year. Therefore, our application process takes time - typically several years. However, selected homes can potentially receive several safety modifications and repairs.
