The Community Development Department coordinates programs funded through federal and state grants to assist in creating a viable urban community for the neediest persons in Kansas City, KS, while reducing poverty, embracing diversity, assisting with economic development, and improving the overall quality of life.
Eligibility
Eligible conditions for work include: roof, electrical, furnace or plumbing. Must be owner-occupied household. Household income must be at or below 60% of the HUD area median income guideline.
