Eligibility

Income less than $69,000 in 2024 OR Special Population (Limited English Proficiency, People with disabilities, 60+), all adults on return must be present to sign, no Schedules E, or F (rental/royalty income, farm income) and no business, estate, trust or foreign returns For Missouri Property Tax/Rent Rebate Program: -Age 65+ OR 60+ with surviving spouse Social Security benefits OR 100% disabled -Income Guidelines: For renters: single annual income is $27,200 or less, married filing combined annual income is $29,200 or less OR For property owners living in the home all year: single annual income is $30,000 or less, married filing combined annual income is $34,000 or less

Required documents

Photo ID for all taxpayers on the form, SS cards for each family member or Individual Taxpayer ID Numbers (ITINs), Income documentation for all jobs worked & other income in 2025 (W-2s, 1099s, 1098s, etc) and Health Insurance form 1095/1095-A from employer/insurance company/government, child care provider name/address/tax ID, College tuition/Student loan interest/Mortgage interest/Property taxes/Charitable contributions documentation, copy of last year's return if available. For MO Property Tax Credit: must have MO form 5674 signed by landlord or letter on letterhead from landlord with the same info. -If senior or disabled - bring paid property tax or rent documentation -If you have a bank account, bring a voided check for automatic deposit of refund

Make appointment online or by calling 211 or 816-474-5112 to schedule; appointments may be made by 211 on Monday-Friday, 9am-7pm until slots are filled for the next two weeks.
