CMHS offers short-term residential substance use recovery services. Gateway House in Kansas City, MO is a 12-bed residential facility for men who are receiving substance use recovery services. M-F the men receive services at the Recovery KC location. Lotus House in Independence, MO is a 14-bed residential facility for women who are receiving substance use recovery services. Women are able to bring children with them (up to school age). During the weekdays the women receive their treatment services at the George Norman, Jr. Recovery Center location.
