Eligibility

Full or part-time permanent federal civilian or postal employees, employed with the federal government for more than one year. Must have experienced one of the following hardships in the six months preceding the application: severe illness, injury, or dental emergency of the employee; severe illness or injury of an immediate family member; death of an immediate family member; major loss/damage to primary residence due to a disaster like a fire/flood/hurricane; victim of domestic violence with immediate need for safe housing; victim of violent crime with financial impact.

Online application electronic copies of most recent SF-50, most recent household earning statements, evidence of hardship (death certificate, FMLA papers, doctors note, police or insurance report), copy of bills for which you are requesting assistance, copy of state-issued driver or non-driver ID, signed copy of FEEA's credit release authorization form
