Provides casework, short-term counseling, food pantry and emergency assistance on gas, electric and prescription assistance to eligible low-income individuals and families. Also offers Pathway of Hope family case management program. This agency is the point of contact in Johnson County for Kansas Senior Farmers Market Nutrition Program.

Eligibility

Currently homeless by HUD definition: Sleeping in a place not meant for human habitation, in a shelter or transitional housing, fleeing domestic violence. For those who are not currently homeless, a triage screen will be completed and families will be diverted to emergency assistance services and provided case management and related services.

Required documents

No ID or documents are needed for the screening or completion of the Vulnerability Assessment Tool for entry onto the Prioritized Housing Eligibility List
